€10 Spain 70 years of Peace Silver Coin

The Royal Mint of Spain (Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre – Real Casa de la Moneda) issue the twelfth series of collector coins of Europe Programme, €10 Spain 70 years of Peace Silver Coin. The .925 silver proof is Spain legal tender with a limited mintage of 7,500 pieces.

The Monnaie de Paris has released similar coin program, EUROPA 70 Years of Peace in Europe Silver Coin.

The coin obverse bears the bust of His Majesty King Don Felipe VI, these being the first "proof" coins that show his portraits. The reverse features the stylized image of a a dove holding a branch of an olive tree in its beak, as a universal symbol of peace. At the top of the coin, in a circular and in capital letters, the inscription "70 YEARS OF PEACE". At the bottom of the coin, on the left, the common mark adopted by the countries issuing coins dedicated to Europe Program.
